Interactive Vending Machine and Web Experiences
Role: Interactive Designer
Role: Interactive Designer
During my time at Sparks, I had the opportunity to create several interactive experiences for Salesforce partnership stories. These digital and physical experiences are aimed at B2B customers to tell success stories of how companies used Salesforce products to better their businesses.
Snack Match
Snack Match is a showcase of how Conagra Brands—home to over one hundred iconic food brands—leverages the combined power of Salesforce and Google to connect with customers and provide personalized product journeys and recommendations.
This experience took place at Salesforce Dreamforce at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Dreamforce is an annual four-day event that brings together the entire Salesforce community to share their stories, their successes, and learn from each other. 171,000 + registered attendees and 16 million online viewers. The client had a goal of reaching 3000 lead scans for the experience.
We were tasked with engaging Dreamforce attendees, more than one at a time, with a fun digital experience while getting an introduction to the Conagra + Salesforce + Google partnership story.
We delivered a two tablet experience where attendees build a flavor profile by “swiping right” on flavors and interests that they like, leading to a “Snack Match”. A vending machine fully stocked with Conagra snacks then animates to reveal and vend the perfect snack.
The concept came from the idea of online dating experiences. We needed a simple but engaging way that communicates the idea of capturing data and using that information to recommend products. The idea of a vending machine came naturally since Conagra Brands was a food distributor and they had an idea to do some sort of food giveaway.
I was responsible for brainstorming the concept and creating the UX, visual designs and animations. I also handed off the assets to our engineers and did QA onsite before the event was live.
Salesforce + AWS Virtual Park
In this web experience, users explore different quests while learning about the benefits and collaborative nature of Salesforce and AWS products. Users play games and watch demos and customer interviews while collecting points to earn Salesforce merchandise.
My role was to design the user interface and craft the illustrated environments with the given Salesforce assets. This experience was also accessible by mobile devices.
Salesforce + Google Virtual Adventure
Coinciding at the same time as the Salesforce + AWS Virtual Park, Salesforce had another web experience with Google to highlight their partnership. This experience highlighted six products from Salesforce and Google and offered sessions and product demos from their featured partners.
My role was to provide art direction for this experience and design the user interface.
