Teamfight Tactics is an auto battler game where players compete online against seven other opponents by building a team to be the last one standing. This project is an interactive meta game inside the game client to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Players will be challenged to find the perfect gift for each of the Little Legends (characters) by completing missions and exchanging gifts.
As the leader designer, I mapped out the entire event with wireframes and created all the designs for the user interface. I also created a new design library with all the creative assets and organized its contents for easy handoff to our dev partners. We worked with the TFT marketing and product team to bring this hub to life.
The event had three different phases:
Phase 1: Earn your invite. Completing 1 mission unlocks the experience.
Phase 2 (Day): Discover Gift Ideas and Acquire Gifts. Completing 7 missions unlocks the next phase.
Phase 3 (Night): Exchange Gifts and Light Lanterns. After completing 7 more missions, the lanterns launch into the sky collectively to end the experience.
